Reporting to the National Operations Manager, The Continuous Improvement Business Analyst participates in every aspect of the implementation and long-term ownership of the operations and quality business application ecosystem, from analyzing business requirements to configuring the application and systems to meet business needs and developing/testing/implementing end solutions. Primary responsibilities include managing business relations, determining standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives, defining functional requirements, solution configuration and design, end user training and deployment and delivery of project tasks on time and on budget.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Supports flour milling operations under a standardized and continuous improvement model.
  • Supports operational quality, quality configuration and master data management functions.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, gaining a full understanding of current and future state business processes, to establish a comprehensive set of standardized requirements aligned to operational and quality business objectives that results in a functional design document.
  • Evaluates the operational and quality business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
  • Configures and customizes the ERP application to achieve operational and quality business requirements.
  • Reports bugs and works with solution architect / developers to test and resolve issues.
  • Defines security role assignments for end users and relays information to IT.
  • Creates, manages, and maintains training documentation.
  • Performs unit testing and leads user acceptance testing on deployed solutions.
  • Troubleshoots end user issues as Tier One Support
  • Facilitates development of data visualization standards and dashboards that align with the business requirements and KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Acts as Continuous Improvement agent and champion on LEAN initiatives and process standardization and optimization across the organization.
  • Facilitates change management process for new and optimized systems, process, tools, and methodologies prior to deployment and release.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:
  • At least 5 years work experience in Process Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Food Safety Management
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management or equivalent industry work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business applications with focus on business process modeling, configuration, and software implementation.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with ERP application ecosystem and its core application and modules in Operations and Quality.
  • Work experience in utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Possess strong communication, both oral and written, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
