Job Description


Our client, a Canadian multinational energy transportation company with a focus on the transportation, distribution, and generation of energy, has an immediate need for a Continuous Improvement Lead. This is a contract position for one (1) year located in Calgary, Alberta.

Description

As Continuous Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for developing and maturing the maturity level of work in the Core Programs organization in terms of its systems, processes, and practices. You will work closely with the Supervisor and Manager of Program development to develop a process for assessing the current state of the organization work and stand up the continuous improvement framework.

What you will do:

  • Refine Core Programs teams execution maturity matrix that evaluates degree of standardization against a number of key components, including design optimization, contracting strategy and planning and execution processes
  • Develop a process for and conduct qualitative and quantitative organizational maturity assessments to evaluate the current state of systems, processes, and practices
  • Support execution leaders to analyze assessment results and develop a roadmap for improvement
  • Develop a process prioritization and complexity assessment and work with stakeholders to prioritize and assess complexity of improvement initiatives
  • Provide training, tools, and resources to team members on organizational maturity assessment and continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in organizational maturity assessments or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex business issues
  • Experience in developing and implementing assessment methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in project management and construction, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Knowledge of organizational maturity assessment methodologies, such as CMMI, OPM3, or ISO 15504
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and assessment software
Additional Information
  • Some travel may be required within Canada and United States
  • FlexWork (Hybrid Work Model) in office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays.
