Continuous Improvement Coordinator (production)

Job Description
Our client, an established SME located in Bois-des-Filion, is looking for a production coordinator. Under the responsibility of the production foreman, the person will be in charge of setting up processes for improving and measuring production.
The person will have to ensure the scheduling of production operations, the analysis of information to maximize the whole, prepare daily required documents as well as generate and maintain the necessary reports.
More specifically, his or her responsibilities will be :
- Receive, respond to and coordinate production requests. Act as the right hand of the foreman.
- Assist in short, medium and long term production planning. Identify planning and supply issues. Make suggestions to optimize production.
- Conduct analysis to identify management issues and suggest processes to be put in place.
- Train employees on management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations engineering or other relevant university education
