We are currently seeking dedicated and caring

CCAs/PCWs/HHPs/HHAs

to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality, resident-centered care that supports the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social wellbeing of those who live at The Meadows.

What You'll Do



Provide compassionate personal care and daily living support to residents Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and recreational activities Foster a positive, person-centered environment aligned with our vision of

"Enriching Lives Daily"

Participate in team-building, neighborhood guide training, and pet care (as applicable) Work collaboratively with your care team to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for every resident

What You Need to Have



Current NS CCA registration

(or conditional registration with a plan to certify within 3 years if hired as a PCW) A genuine passion for supporting seniors, especially those living with cognitive challenges A respectful, compassionate approach and strong interpersonal skills Reliability, good judgment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible hours, including call-ins or short-notice shifts Commitment to confidentiality, continuous learning, and professional growth Ability to perform core physical tasks (lifting, bending, stretching)

Certifications (required or willing to obtain):



CPR, GPA, Teepa Snow Training, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Non-Crisis Intervention, Food Handler's Course, and Eden Philosophy of Care.

Previous experience in long-term care or dementia care Basic computer skills and comfort using electronic documentation systems
