Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests and uphold the standards of our establishment. You will lead the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and culinary expertise in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Duties

Design and prepare a diverse menu that showcases seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Manage kitchen staff by providing training, guidance, and support to foster teamwork and professionalism. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain adequate stock. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health standards. Adapt recipes based on dietary restrictions or customer preferences while maintaining quality.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques, food handling, and restaurant management. Experience in team management with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff effectively. Familiarity with bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. Excellent communication skills to interact with both kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn new skills and techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
