Overview

- We're looking for a creative, strategy-driven Content Director to help plan, script, and direct 10-15 short-form videos per month to help grow the founders' personal brand.

- You'll work directly alongside the founder, brainstorming ideas, refining concepts, and crafting the type of content that truly connects visually, emotionally, and algorithmically.

- This role blends creative storytelling with social media strategy. You'll help shape how the brand looks, feels, and communicates through short-form content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

- You don't need to edit videos yourself, but if you can, that's a huge plus, and we're willing to pay more for it.

Duties

Collaborate on Ideas:

Work directly with the founder to develop original, attention-grabbing short-form concepts and series.

Plan & Script:

Write engaging hooks, voiceovers, and outlines for each short to ensure high retention and shareability.

Aesthetic Direction:

Plan and help film aesthetic shots, advising on lighting, framing, and pacing to achieve the desired vibe.

Trend Awareness:

Identify and adapt viral trends, audio, and formats that fit the brand's tone and audience.

Editor Coordination:

Create clear briefs or communicate directly with the editor to ensure execution matches the creative vision.

Content Calendar:

Build and maintain a monthly content roadmap with shoot dates, ideas, and publishing timelines.

Performance Feedback:

Review analytics and adjust strategy to improve video performance and virality over time.

Requirements

Proven experience creating or directing viral short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts). Deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual trends. Strong creative writing skills for short scripts, hooks, and captions. A sharp eye for what's aesthetic and high-quality in 2025's social landscape. Basic understanding of filming and ability to direct shots or assist with filming sessions. Excellent communication and organization skills to manage multiple deliverables.

Bonus:

Experience in video editing (we'll increase pay for candidates who can edit).
