Reporting to the Communications Manager the Content Specialist is a creative communicator that will be responsible for the development and execution of the content strategy that will grow the Summit Nanotech brand with our target audiences. This role will also lead all social media management and work to grow our digital presence within the lithium industry. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive industry and internal research to develop a content strategy and editorial plan that addresses all brand personas
  • Drive the social media strategy that grows our audiences and addresses our operations across North and South America creating a cohesive brand across all channels
  • Lead content planning with the inclusion of photography, videography, and written assets by creating or sourcing external support
  • Support email strategy and planning with various departments using HubSpot
  • Responsible for ensuring the website is current and reflective of the brand\xe2\x80\x99s tone and voice
  • Ensure website is optimized for SEO
  • Provide reporting as it relates to digital properties, draw insights and provide recommendations based on performance
  • Collaborate across teams to gather information and business requirements to produce industry leading digital content
  • Remain up to date with the latest digital media trends and social media best practices
  • Other duties as required and assigned
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in communication, marketing, with a minimum of 5 years of B2B social media experience
  • A natural storyteller that can translate complex technical matter into engaging short and long-form content
  • A brand guru with experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Experience with social publishing tools, analysis, and reporting to optimize performance
  • Experience with SEO and working with third-party specialists to grow website traffic
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is an asset

Location & Commitments
This role will primarily be located in Calgary, AB. During peak periods, work outside of normal business hours (including evenings and weekends) may be required.
