Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Consumer Data Analyst on a permanent full-time basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK.

What you'll do:

You will work with the Food and Consumer Marketing team leaders and managers to understand business objectives by managing consumer insights, solve business problems, and provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive business strategy.

  • You will gather, analyze, and manage data quality, interpret, and report data-driven insights for the food department.
  • You will provide conclusions and recommendations that inform decision making and strategy development including:
  • Making enhancements to marketing campaigns that increase effectiveness, build customer loyalty, and increase overall spend;
  • Making improvements to digital marketing campaigns to increase click through rates and shopper engagement;
  • Understanding member shopping behaviors and identifying trends to influence strategy development aimed at overall market growth.
  • You will complete ad hoc projects as required.
  • You will collaborate with other business analysts in process documentation, project work, and data analysis for the Food Department.
  • You will review data used for reporting, perform analysis, and make recommendations on data required to support the Food Department projects.
  • You will develop and deliver customized reports, presentations, and training ensuring information is presented in a manner that can be understood at all levels, has a relevant business application, and holds meaning for the team.
  • You will develop, build, distribute, and maintain processes that visualize/track key performance measures in support of strategic organizational initiatives.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Project Management & Business Analysis and:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business, Statistics/ Math, Economics, or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in quantitative or marketing/retail analytics with focus on creating and communicating insights (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • You have expertise in Excel and MS Office, Data analytics and visualization tools, consumer insights, and practical statistical analysis in a business setting.
  • You have an understanding of online marketing, digital media, web metrics, campaign performance measures, analytic tools, and category management or retail.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • You have strong project management, business writing and reporting skills.
  • You are detail oriented with business acumen.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
