DO YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVOLUTION OF THE WORLD LEADER IN MARINE PRODUCTS? Pelican International is looking for its next Market and Consumer Intelligence Analyst to join his Innovation team. You are needed to conduct agile market researches and studies on consumer behavior in order to provide information for strategic decision-making related to development of new product/services. This will provide a summary portrait of the target market and consumer behavior. You will analyze and synthesize primary data results and bring possible innovation leads or recommendations for improving products/services. In terms of consumer intelligence, you will be responsible to plan, design and execute consumer surveys, using web base tools, in order to understand better their needs, motivations/barriers when adopting a product/service or their opinion on a product/service. YOUR DAY IN THIS POSITION:

• Perform agile market research using our internal database and automated data collection tools across different sales channels (retail, specialty shops and e-comm);
• Research secondary data to obtain relevant information (using scientific articles, articles from general and professional media, comments on social networks and blogs of individuals or professionals, etc);
• Estimate market size in new product categories and for new service offerings;
• Present data in dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI so managers can assess business opportunities quickly and efficiently.
• Consumer Intelligence:
• Conduct netnographic monitoring by studying the behavior of groups sharing common interests on different social media platform and extracting insights related to innovation projects ;
• Regularly monitor and update consumer behavior trend book across different consumer age group;
• Regularly monitor and update technological trends that influence consumer behavior.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: You have significant experience in a similar position combined with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, administration, statistics or another related field. You have knowledge in the sports, leisure and outdoor products fields and have experience in consumer durables products. You are data-obsessed, love making connections and thrive in a creative yet structure process. You stand out for your excellent analytical skills, your sense of detail, your creativity and autonomy. In addition, you have excellent organizational skills and a good sense of priorities. You are bilingual and good communicator.
