What will your typical day look like?

As part of the Central Consulting Group, your typical responsibilities will include supporting WBS project creation in ERP system, assisting with achieving documents, follow-up and retrieval of expenses, project maintenance, invoice generation as well as project closure. You will work with a highly skilled team to support projects in Consulting.
About the team

Deloitte Consulting's "Engagement Financial Services (EFS)" practice is comprised of Project Controls professionals serving as a focal point for financial aspects of project, program, and account management.

Our team is essential in supporting our Deloitte teams as they deliver quality service to clients. We are trusted business analysts who champion operational excellence and optimize engagement margin for our businesses through the delivery of high-quality engagement financial management activities.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you

In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program and returning to school following completion of this co-op term, pursuing Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or other relevant Degree at either the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with creative ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions. Proficiency in written and verbal French an asset.
  • Organized, detail-focused and analytical with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment with competing deadlines and rapidly evolving client needs and conditions.
  • Able to demonstrate strong technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project) and learn new systems and methodologies.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.

Ottawa:
Employees in the Ottawa consulting practice will be required to obtain "reliability" and/or "Secret" level federal security clearance as a condition of their employment. To be eligible for a "Reliability" status, you must have resided in Canada for the last five (5) years and for "Secret" level the last ten (10) years.
