What you will do

We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a Full time Consultant working in our Management Consulting practice in Montreal. You will have the opportunity to work across industries to take on challenging and groundbreaking projects. From analyzing and assessing business processes to improving client performance, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be building strong relationships with our people and developing professional skills that will help set you up for success.

Microsoft/GenAI

In the KPMG Microsoft or GenAI team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of a diverse team of dedicated problem-solving professionals with a common goal : help our client transform their organization with cutting-edge technologies. What you will do

• Determine and analyze clients IT and technical needs
• Design, configure, develop, and implement solutions for the deployment and migration of enterprise cloud architectures based on various Microsoft products and other state-of-the-art technologies
• Participate in R&D around use cases leveraging cutting edge technologies such as AI and GPT
• Design and implement solutions to solve shortcomings and vulnerabilities in IT while refining existing programs
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, and customers in multiple areas
• Review the code of your colleagues
• Work with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies

What you bring to the role

• University degree in a field such as computer science, science, or engineering
• Knowledge of programming languages; proficiency in C#, Java and/or other programming languages is required
• Knowledge of cloud computing is an asset
• Knowledge of front-end development (UI/UX) with skills in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, etc. is an asset
• Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD) is an asset
• Knowledge of the Power Platform suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) is an asset
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and analysis for non-technical people, and to convey processes, concepts, challenges, and issues to technically trained people.
• High degree of motivation and enthusiasm for a variety of challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent academic record expected
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Entrepreneurial spirit and creativity in problem solving
• Fluency in French is required; English is an asset

What you bring to the role

For all service lines:

• You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as business, commerce, science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, arts, etc.). Candidates graduating between April 2024 and August 2024 should apply.
• You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic to take on a variety of challenges and opportunities
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• You have a strong academic record
• You have the ability to work independently without supervision
• You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure
• You have a strong sense of personal accountability
• You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver

For the more technical service lines (Intelligent Automation, Enterprise Solutions - Workday & ServiceNow & Oracle & Microsoft/GenAI)

• Strong interest in Technology and a strong aptitude to learn quickly
• Understanding of programming languages; Strong Python, Squl, C++, and/or Java proficiency is an asset for certain teams.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and analytics to non-technical persons, as well as business processes, concepts, challenges and issues to technical persons.
