If you are willing to be part of a team that is dedicated to growth, high performance and a culture of safety and accountability, we would like to hear from you!CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENTReporting to the Construction Manager and collaborating with the Lynn Lake Project Team, the successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering the Lynn Lake Gold Project. The Construction Superintendent will oversee and coordinate teams, including internal engineering and construction personnel, consultants, and contractors, to ensure the safe and efficient execution of site construction activities. This includes planning, preparation, and day-to-day management of construction operations, ensuring all project milestones are met in accordance with schedule, budget, and quality standards.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager to establish project goals, execution strategies, and safety priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a Project Execution Plan (PEP) and resource-loaded schedules, including critical path analysis and three-week lookahead plans.
  • Lead by example to promote a culture of safety, implementing the company's Safety Program across all site activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, legislative requirements, and site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety performance evaluations for field staff and subcontractors.
  • Establish effective working relationships with field staff and subcontractors to foster collaboration and high morale.
  • Collaborate with field engineers, estimators, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure construction aligns with drawings, specifications, and ownerxe2x80x99s expectations.
  • Address and resolve design deficiencies, schedule interruptions, and site challenges promptly.
  • Administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to ensure terms and conditions are met, while managing change notices effectively.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and scope of work.
  • Conduct inspections to verify the quality of workmanship and materials, addressing any deficiencies immediately.
  • Monitor manpower and resource allocation to ensure the project meets safety, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Maintain strong communication with consultants, trades, and internal teams, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress.
  • Lead site meetings to align all stakeholders on project goals, timelines, and responsibilities.
Education : Technical degreeExperience : 0 years: xe2x80xa2 Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations, productivity benchmarks, and labor relations.
0 years: xe2x80xa2 Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and specifications, with the ability to address technical challenges.
0 years: xe2x80xa2 A minimum of 10 years in a field supervision role within large-scale construction projects valued over CAD $100 million.
0 years: xe2x80xa2 Proven ability to lead construction teams effectively, manage subcontractors, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
0 years: xe2x80xa2 Experience in mining, civil, or industrial projects, particularly in remote or challenging environments, is highly desirable.
