Gardon Construction is a small to medium size firm with over 40 years experience covering new builds, major renovations, building envelope and window replacements, concrete work and restoration, and much more.

We are seeking an experienced Hand On Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of construction processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

The position requires the ability to keep a project on schedule, deal with issues with calm evaluation, have problem solving skills, read and understand plans and specifications and addenda, and understanding of all aspects of construction.

Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project milestones are met. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to review plans and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control measures. Utilize construction management software such as Procore for project tracking and documentation.. Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Implement safety protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
