About Us:

Kingston Construction is a union signatory company and has been a leader in the construction industry since 1962, specializing in bridges and overpass residential and commercial concrete works at port facilities and coal ports. We pride ourselves on being a leader in Canada that places Polyester polymer concrete, focusing on the rehabilitation of bridge deck structures.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Superintendent/General Foreman to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who is reliable, dependable, and confident in their capabilities. We value team members who are not afraid to ask for help and are eager to grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervise heavy industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Utilize Microsoft Project for effective scheduling and project management. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in construction, particularly in concrete works or rehabilitation. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Project and scheduling. Experience in running or overseeing crews of 20 plus staff and sub-trades. Red seal carpentry is preferred but isn't a requirement. Understanding of WorkSafeBC requirements and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
