Overview
A reputable general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead site operations on ground-up projects. A January start preferred but the company will wait for the right long-term fit. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative environment where experience is respected and mentorship is part of the culture.
The Role
The Superintendent will be responsible for full site execution with a strong emphasis on groundworks, subcontractor management, and safety. 5-10 years of experience delivering small to medium sized ground-up projects required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily site operations from groundworks through completion
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site trades
- Enforce site safety programs and standards
- Conduct site walk-throughs with consultants and inspectors
- Maintain project schedules and milestones
- Ensure high standards of site organization and quality
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and leadership team
- Strong experience in groundworks and early-stage construction
- Proven subcontractor and site management skills
- Strong safety leadership
- Confident conducting walk-throughs and inspections
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
