Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software. This role involves coordinating daily operations, managing teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. The Construction Site Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring project success through effective management of resources, contractors, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and work progress Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide team activities Manage project budgets by tracking costs and assisting with construction estimating and budgeting processes Oversee subcontractor performance and supervise team members to ensure productivity and safety standards are met Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process Maintain accurate documentation related to contracts, change orders, progress reports, and safety records Troubleshoot technical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment as needed Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings in compliance with OSHA regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites Possess valid First Aid, Working at Heights, and Competent Supervisor Training Excellent knowledge of Part 3 and Part 9 OBC requirements Extensive knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating Familiarity with contracts management and quality control procedures Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience on large-scale projects Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Experience working within pipeline or heavy civil projects is a plus Relevant certifications such as OSHA certification are preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
