Baiocco Construction is a leading construction remediation firm with a legacy spanning more than fifty years. We manage everything from water infrastructure and stormwater systems to municipal roadways, site grading, industrial maintenance, equipment rentals, and more.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion in a unionized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management tools. Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the supervisor must mainly see to managing the construction site activities he is in charge of. Determine, along with the General Manager, the needs in materials and supplies and issue orders with the procurement and logistics department; Coordinate work of subcontractors, the various specialties, and other trades according to the General Manager's instructions; Supervise, coordinate, and organize the work of construction site employees. Train workers and see to their training--construction site procedures, safety rules, emergency measures, etc.; Fill out time sheets and list of items and submit them to the payroll department; Establish, along with the General Manager, manpower requirements; Establish work methods, in collaboration with the General Manager, which enable respecting delivery calendars and coordinate activities with other departments; Solve work-related issues and recommend measures aiming at increasing productivity; Ensure compliance with labor safety standards and monitor it; Verify construction site inventory--equipment, tooling, and materials--and properly record.

Requirements:

5 - 10 years supervising experience in water main / sewer construction projects PEng and CET designations are an asset Strong proficiency with construction management software including Bluebeam, B2W and other relevant tools Skilled in blueprint reading and construction specifications Knowledge of quality control practices and safety regulations within the construction industry Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively and coordinate multiple teams simultaneously Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively This position is integral to delivering high-quality construction projects while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency. Pay: $110,000.00 per year
