The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure construction projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations. This role acts as the primary on-site point of contact, coordinating subcontractors, workers, materials, and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities
Ensure work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards
Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations
Schedule and manage subcontractors, trades, and daily labor activities
Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager
Identify and resolve on-site issues, delays, or conflicts promptly
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Coordinate deliveries, equipment usage, and material storage
Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress photos
Assist with inspections, punch lists, and project close-out activities
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schedules
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with basic construction software and reporting tools
OSHA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift materials as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.22 per year
