Today, the Sky Group consists of 4 integrated operating entities (general contracting including in suite design and remodeling, upgrades and maintenance with a focus on multi-residential properties, custom fabricated kitchens, emergency response restoration and electrical), with Sky Contracting being the original, and largest: About the Role: We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager to join our expanding team. Core responsibilities include: 1. Scope of operations. 2. Organize and plan the work to be done and assign the right workers to appropriate and fitting tasks. 3. Submit material requests to the purchase team in a timely manner using the appropriate form. 4. Oversee subordinate staff in the execution of tasks and resolve issues that may arise. 5. Conduct quality control. 6. Update project management platform with the status of jobs (progress reports) and other important notes. 7. Notify the HR Manager of any absenteeism. 8. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues. 9. Organize and lead departmental meetings. 10. Ensure sub-ordinate staff submit dailly job reports. 11. Ensure workers are clocking in and out at the correct time. 12. Ensure timely and quality completion of projects to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties. 13. Work within the budget by adequately estimating the costs and cutting unnecessary expenses. 14. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements. 15. Perform job costing. 16. Issue progress schedules and reports to clients. 17. Submit monthly reports 18. Colloborating with engineers and architects to determine the specifications of the project, 19. Obtain all necessary regulations and permits. 20. Risk review of projects Requirements: 1. Excellent communication and time management skills. 2. Self-starter and organizer. 3. Must be able to communicate clearly in English. 4. Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products. 6. 5+ years of construction experience is an asset. 7. Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence. 8. Bachelor\'s degree or certificate in project management or construction or related field of study is an asset.
