Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the 299 Main Street East, Hamilton project. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while managing all aspects of the construction lifecycle and maintaining strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the 299 Main Street East, Hamilton project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Oversee contract administration, including reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; implement schedule control measures and provide regular updates to reflect project progress and necessary adjustments.
Monitor progress and prepare documentation required for fund release upon completion of project milestones for 299 Main Street East, Hamilton.
Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery to support construction progress.
Monitor project budgets, control costs, and prepare regular financial and progress reports for senior management and stakeholders for 299 Main Street East, Hamilton.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans, quality standards, safety protocols, and building codes.
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain momentum.
Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead site meetings and prepare reports, meeting minutes, change orders, and all project documentation for
299 Main Street East, Hamilton
.
Ensure accurate documentation and management of all project changes, claims, and variations to protect company interests and maintain contract clarity.
Oversee project closeout, including commissioning, occupancy coordination, turnover of documentation, and warranty management for
299 Main Street East, Hamilton
.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field obtained from a Canadian institution
(mandatory).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
At least 2 years of Canadian construction project management experience (mandatory).
Proven experience delivering mid-sized to large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and contract administration in Canada.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or equivalent).
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
PMP or Gold Seal Certification is an asset but not mandatory.
