The Junior Project Manager will work on up to 6 projects simultaneously involving meter stations and pipelines, leading a team and communicating with stakeholders.

A typical day:

Interface with system design and estimating to support rough order of magnitude estimates for Projects in Discovery and Prospecting phase

Coordinate with ELIR to validate preliminary feasibility of project options and site alternatives
/lili
Manage scope for field work and reviews RFPs for consultants: Env, Land, Survey, and Geotech
/lili
Support engagement of ELIR through information requests and data gathering
/lili
Work with Risk team to identify risks and mitigations through risk assessments
/lili
Work with support teams and Project Controls to establish baseline execution schedule and spend forecast early in the project lifecycle
/lili
Works with Project Controls to complete monthly cost and schedule forecasting, manage the trend log and watchlist, etc
/lili
Review third party engineering RFPs prior to submission; Review third party engineering proposals to ensure they align with project needs (scope, cost and schedule)

Successful candidates will have:

University Degree, technical diploma or equivalent formal project manager training or designation (e.g. PMP) considered an asset

5+ years on projects, Junior PMs and Senior Project Coordinators are invited to apply
/lili
Experience with projects involving meter stations and pipelines, and an E&I background will be considered an asset
/lili
Experience with being accountable for safety, regulatory compliance, quality, cost, and schedule for all aspects of project execution after project is assigned. This includes Engineering, Materials Procurement, Regulatory, Environmental, and Land approvals, Construction, Commissioning, Asset Integration, Closeout
/lili
Experience leading or coordinating project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for projects
/lili
Experience defining and developing project scope and objectives, including project execution plan, schedule, functionality, quality and cost to achieve project milestones and minimize costs
/lili
Experience overseeing all aspects of project execution (including engineering, procurement, and construction activities) and monitoring critical path schedules and deliverables
/lili
Excellent communication skills, time management and organization skills, the ability to effectively prioritize while working on multiple projects, the right attitude, the ability to ask questions and seek support when required
