Today, the Sky Group consists of 4 integrated operating entities (general contracting including in suite design and remodeling, upgrades and maintenance with a focus on multi-residential properties, custom fabricated kitchens, emergency response restoration and electrical), with Sky Contracting being the original, and largest: About the Role: We are currently seeking a motivated Construction Project Coordinator to join our expanding team. Core responsibilities include: \xc2\xb7 Assist the Project Manager (PM) in the creation and monitoring of budgets, schedules, PO\xe2\x80\x99s, sub-contracts etc. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for creating minutes from project discussions. \xc2\xb7 Ensure all materials are on-time, on site and complete \xe2\x80\x93 tracking and managing an on-site inventory. \xc2\xb7 Works with PM to use project scheduling to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. \xc2\xb7 Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the PM. \xc2\xb7 Track and manage change notices and change orders. \xc2\xb7 Assist project manager with scope of operations. \xc2\xb7 Inspections and quality check. \xc2\xb7 Assist project manager in preparation of monthly reports. \xc2\xb7 Maintain and promote health and safety amongst sub-ordinate staff. \xc2\xb7 Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients. \xc2\xb7 Maintain and increase departmental sales.

  • Assist the estimator in preparing clear, detailed quantity take-offs and estimate the cost of materials, labour, and equipment for residential, multi-residential and commercial construction projects from pictures, drawings and contract bids.
\xc2\xb7 Other related duties. Requirements: 1. Excellent communication and time management skills. 2. Self-starter and organizer. 3. Must be able to communicate clearly in English. 4. Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products. 6. 5+ years of construction experience is an asset. 7. Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence. 8. Bachelor\'s degree or certificate in project management or construction or related field of study is an asset. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Schedule:
