Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled, adaptable, and reliable worker to join our team in Galena Bay. You will assist with all aspects of construction and property development as we complete a main house for rental and begin building additional short-term rental units, retreat structures, and habitat restoration projects.

This is a hands-on, physically active role with a wide variety of tasks. For the right candidate, there is opportunity for long-term work and potential to get involved with our wildlife management operations as we expand into the Revelstoke area.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with a wide range of property development tasks, including: Siding installation Roofing Drywalling Landscaping General construction work Work alongside other contractors and trades on-site Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Take initiative and complete tasks independently when required Contribute to future projects including: Additional short-term rental units Retreat structures Habitat and land restoration

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction, property development, or general handyman work preferred Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor and indoor work Skilled in one or more of the following: siding, roofing, drywall, landscaping, general construction Ability to adapt to a wide range of tasks Strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team Valid driver's license is an asset Basic tools are an asset but not required -- tools can be provided for the right candidate
