About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Construction Estimator / Project Coordinator

with in-depth knowledge of the

Canadian construction industry

. In this new role, you will prepare detailed estimates, coordinate small- to mid-sized projects, schedule crews and resources, and support successful delivery from planning to completion.

This role requires someone who is organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete cutting and related construction projects Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to define project scope Use estimating software such as BuildingConnected, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam Obtain and negotiate pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors Track project budgets and monitor ongoing costs; provide updates to management Coordinate scheduling of labour, equipment, and subcontracted services Perform on-site visits as required to assess project needs and progress Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards Contribute to process improvements and estimating strategies

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Estimator and/or Project Coordinator Strong knowledge of Canadian construction processes, materials, and pricing Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating tools (BuildingConnected, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, etc.) Excellent communication, documentation, and reading skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills Relevant education or certifications in construction, estimating, or project management (an asset)
