What you'll do:



Estimating & Pre-Construction



Prepare detailed HVAC construction cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, bids, and supplier quotations. Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate scope coverage and compliance. Manage RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals, coordinating tracking, review, and responses with consultants and internal teams. Support tendering processes by analyzing bids, recommending awards, and assisting with negotiations.

Project Management & Controls



Coordinate project kick-off meetings and manage projects from award through completion. Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, reporting, and documentation. Prepare regular cost reports, expenditure statements, and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle. Support progress tracking and project close-out activities.

Client & Stakeholder Management



Support the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of client agreements and contracts. Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain clear communication.

A little about you:



2+ years of experience estimating costs for mechanical, structural, or electrical construction projects, ideally within HVAC. 2+ years of experience managing construction projects, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and execution oversight. Education in mechanical or construction engineering technology (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of HVAC and sheet metal systems, materials, labour allowances, and the ability to source alternate products. Proficient with PDF-based takeoff tools and comfortable producing accurate material quantities. Solid understanding of HVAC safety regulations and construction best practices. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across estimating, project teams, and clients.

Pay: $80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
