Configuration Management Specialist - Onsite Position
The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will be responsible for performing configuration management duties in support of Product Development and life cycle support activities.
The position will require the CM Specialist to assist Business Units (internal and external), Engineering Services, Programs, Sales and Operations groups in releasing and controlling H/W and S/W configuration items within Agile and the SAP Material Control module. The CM Specialist will need to have the ability to work well within a services oriented environment and have a working understanding of the requirements for supporting Product Development and Production Configuration Management processes. Necessary training will be provided.

Salary Range: $67,900 - $90,500 plus bonus opportunity

Your Challenge:Assign and manage document and material numbers Chair Configuration Control Board meetings Communicate with internal customers to provide status on release activities for ECOs, docs and data, BOMs, etc. Communicate with Sales team and External customers in processing customer Data Item requests Complete updates after the ADM (Advance Development Model) baseline has been reached Configuration Management Compliance (Agile configuration/compliance, AS9100, EIA-649) Coordinate the implementation of Engineering Change Orders, PTAs, Data/Document Release Authorizations, Product/Part Transition Authorizations, Attribute Change Orders, Deviation/Waivers and Material Substitution Requests Creation and release of new products and product variants (Material/BOMs/Data items) Data Accuracy Audits Assist Agile-CM team in driving corrective actions Assist Agile-CM team in maintaining CM company procedures Maintain CM metrics Monitor and process data items, S/W, documentation and drawings for each baseline Obtain required approvals for drawings and BOMs Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company processes Process data items for different control levels (Database, linkage to a material master, data items on a controlled BOM) Review Engineering Change Requests for CM requirements and prepare for Configuration Control Board (CCB) review

What you Bring:Secondary School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years industry experience CMII certification is an asset Experience working within ISO process environment is an asset; Experience supporting electronics design & manufacturing environment is an asset; Experience with Agile PLM, SAP or another PLM tool is an asset Detailed Knowledge of Configuration Management and Document Control practices Solid understanding of BOM, Data and SW structures
