Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, mechanical knowledge, and the operation of heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and contributing to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport materials and equipment to various job sites. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, including heavy equipment. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and deliveries effectively. Perform basic maintenance on vehicles as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge. Assist in operating heavy equipment such as loaders for digging, paving, or concrete finishing tasks when required. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting vehicle issues. Experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly loader operation. Ability to perform concrete finishing and forming tasks is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Attention to detail in following safety protocols and maintaining records.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
