About us Shean Concrete and Construction is a small business located in Mitchell, ON. We are fast-paced, rewarding, and challenging. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Concrete and Construction Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work well in a team, and commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities:
- Form, pour, and finish concrete for a variety of construction projects including foundations, walls, floors, and sidewalks
- Operate and maintain a variety of concrete equipment and tools, including mixers, saws, drills, and trowels
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise construction
- Conduct site preparation and clean-up activities, including grading
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and regulation to ensure a safe work environment for all team members
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in concrete and construction work. Would consider training if no experience
- Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of construction equipment and tools
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work
- Valid Drivers license to drive work vehicles to and from job sites
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Bonus pay
