We are looking for an experienced Site Project Coordinator on a full-time basis for a hi-rise project in Oakville, ON. Sibwest Inc. is a reliable and knowledgeable formwork contractor with proven industry expertise. We specialize in formwork and reinforced concrete solutions offering our services to a wide range of building sectors including commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Covering all parts of Southern Ontario, Sibwest delivers an innovative approach using a range of traditional and modern formwork systems. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week Position Summary: You will be responsible for the coordination of all construction activities that take place on/off-site, committed to maintaining a safe and structured work environment and ensuring a high standard of safety workmanship and efficiency through collaboration with management and workers. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Assist in overall construction coordination, planning, identifying potential risks and resolving field technical issues. \xc2\xb7 Assist the project manager and superintendent with overall project performance including cost, schedule, safety and quality. \xc2\xb7 Assist in the coordination of all parties involved in the project such as engineers, developers, site supervisors, contractors, authorities, subcontractors and labourers. \xc2\xb7 Acting as a liaison with all appropriate departments in expediting drawings, pricing, site instructions, change notices and related information. \xc2\xb7 Track and advise the project management team about project status and issues. \xc2\xb7 Order and track site formwork inventory and other equipment. \xc2\xb7 Prepare and maintain project filing system for office and job sites. \xc2\xb7 Identify construction schedules and activities/conflicts which could delay the project schedule, coordinate with site supervisors and other involved parties to resolve schedule delays. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs and information for Work Orders, permits, drawings etc. \xc2\xb7 Monitor field work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and safety legislations. \xc2\xb7 Perform additional assignments and tasks as required. Education: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or College diploma in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or project management. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 2-3 years of on-site construction industry experience in a similar role. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of construction methodology, techniques, equipment, drawings and specifications, building materials, required standards and project management processes. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge and understanding of project scheduling, work breakdown structures, critical path analysis and software products to produce scheduling resources. \xc2\xb7 Ability to understand and interpret contracts, drawings and specifications. \xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. \xc2\xb7 Travel throughout the GTA area may be required.
