Primary Purpose of Position: The Project Coordinator position is critical to the success of our organization . Reporting to the Project Manager, this position supports many areas of the business. The role is key in supporting the Project Superintendent with day-to-day activities in all aspects of the projects and planning and coordinating multiple projects at the same time. Key Responsibilities: The This includes but are not limited to:

  • Leadership: Demonstrate strong work ethics and standards at all times. Supporting the Site Superintendent in clearly defining the project Scope of Work to the workers executing the work.
  • Estimating: Supporting the estimating department by providing input regarding manpower, equipment, and material requirements for the projects you are involved in.
  • Scheduling: With the Project Manager or Superintendent, develops and updates project schedules on a regular basis. Reviews and monitors schedule and communicates planned vs actuals with team.
  • Material Procurement: Communicate with vendors to create accurate bill of materials and material requisition requests.
  • Contract Administration: Accurately providing LEM\xe2\x80\x99s and Timecards for PACLP and subcontractor manpower and equipment and ensuring it is invoiced properly.
  • Cost Control and Tracking: Assists Project Manager to establish a cost reporting system for all project components. Provide updated expenditures for accurate project cost tracking.
  • Documentation: Maintain project documentation, Controls drawings and revision, controls and maintain contract change documentation (CIC\xe2\x80\x99s, SI\xe2\x80\x99s, RFI\xe2\x80\x99s), assists in all QA/QC documentation and records, maintains correspondence with clients and vendors.
Qualifications:
  • (Mechanical, Civil or Structural) Engineering degree, or graduate of technical diploma program or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Role typically provides 3 to 5 years of training in various phases of project administration, estimating and field administration.
  • Problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications including MS Projects an asset. Ability to interpret computerized data is essential. Ability to learn new software is essential.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.
Schedule: This Role will be a mix of Saskatoon office work and work at remote job sites. Hours on Site: 11 hr per day; 77 hr per week; 2 week in-2 weeks out Rotation; 40 hr per week while in Saskatoon office. Travel: Travel to remote job sites will be required. Must possess a valid Class 5 drivers\xe2\x80\x99 license. Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
