Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Concrete Cutters and Concrete Finishers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and a passion for concrete work. This role involves various tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete slabs, stairs, etc. as well as cutting, coring, demo & removal of concrete in place. The successful candidates will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Experience & Qualities

Leadership skills are an asset. Prepare job sites by forming, compacting materials, laying rebar, screening, raking and finishing on concrete pours. Heavy equipment experience is an asset. Placing and finishing concrete experience is an asset. Experience with power tools used for cutting, coring, demolishing and removing concrete in place is an asset. Masonry experience is an asset, including laying bricks or blocks. Experience in retrofitting existing concrete structures is an asset. Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor as necessary throughout the workday. Maintain a clean , organized and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Successful candidates will be required to do the following on an on-going basis:

Work with team members on job sites where scope can be cutting, coring, demo & removal of concrete. Mixing, placing & finishing concrete slabs, stairs, etc. Keep a clean and organized work site. Abide by company safety standards and practices with respect to PPE, SOP's, etc. Clean and organize tools. Perform regular maintenance on tools. Keep training up to date as required by the company work with heavy equipment and loads.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50-$31.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 80 per week
