Position Details
Position: Concrete Finisher
Location: Guelph, ON (projects across Southern Ontario)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities
Place, level, and finish concrete for slabs, sidewalks, walls, curbs, and structural elements.
Operate power trowels, floats, and other finishing tools to achieve the required finish.
Set forms, install expansion joints, and perform edgework as required.
Ensure surface quality and tolerance meet project specifications.
Apply curing compounds, sealants, and surface treatments.
Read and follow drawings, specifications, and foreman instructions.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
Uphold all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, professional job site.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a concrete finisher.
Skilled in various finishes -- broom, steel trowel, exposed aggregate, stamped, etc.
Strong knowledge of concrete curing, mix behavior, and surface correction.
Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work well in a team environment.
