Duties

Monitor and control access points using CCTV surveillance systems and security protocols to ensure authorized entry. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues effectively. Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance in medical emergencies. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes. Assist visitors and residents with inquiries, directions, or assistance, fostering a positive community experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid, CPR, CCTV operation, and loss prevention are preferred. Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV systems and monitoring techniques. Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm and assertive demeanor. Knowledge of security procedures and protocols to prevent theft or unauthorized access. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high attention to detail.
