We seek a qualified Computer Technician to install, maintain, and repair laptops on the company\xe2\x80\x99s network. The position will be based either at our Truro or Moncton location. As a computer technician, you must be well-versed in all types of computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, diligently, and accurately and possess a great problem-solving ability to fix issues and ensure functionality. The goal is to install and maintain high-quality networks and computer systems. Responsibilities -Triage tickets through our ticketing system -Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers including joining new devices to the domain -Ensure regular Windows updates are installed to ensure systems remain updated -Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality -Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies -Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference -Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly -Aid users with mobile phone setup and operation Requirements and Skills -Experience as a computer technician or similar role and education -Experience with LAN/WAN networks -Knowledge of computer systems and IT components -Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles -Excellent troubleshooting skills -Excellent communication abilities -Exceptional organizing and time-management skills -Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field experience -Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, A+Network, Microsoft) will be considered an asset If this position is of interest to you, please reply with your resume to: itmanager@wilsonsheating.ca Job Type: Full-time Pay: $47,000.00-$58,000.00 per year Benefits:
