We are seeking a skilled and motivated Computer Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients, ensuring their computer systems run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems, hardware components, and software applications.

Duties

Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues across various platforms, including Linux and MacOS. Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware problems, ensuring minimal downtime for users. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems and peripherals. Utilize ticketing systems to track issues and manage service requests effectively. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing user inquiries and providing timely solutions to technical problems. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance the overall user experience. Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.

Skills

Proficiency in Windows and MacOS operating systems. Strong software troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. In-depth knowledge of computer hardware components and their functionalities. Experience with technical support roles, providing desktop support in an office environment. Familiarity with ticketing systems for issue tracking. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.08-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
