EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Comptroller

Reporting to the Executive Director and working with Chief and Council. This position provides financial management and advice to both ???dl?? K?? First Nation and its subsidiary company Nogha Enterprises Ltd.

This position is located in ???dl?? K??/Fort Simpson, NT. The incumbent has a responsibility for the financial, human resources and administrative affairs of ???dl?? K?? First Nation and Nogha Enterprises Ltd. Is accountable for the management of financial systems, safeguards corporate assets, prepares, issues and distributes financial reports, maintains internal financial controls, ensures effective financial management processes and practices are maintained and are operating effectively. Ensures that the Financial Policy is implemented and followed at all times. This position will also provide training, development and support to Nogha Enterprises Ltd. and ???dl?? K?? First Nation staff.

The knowledge, skills and abilities are typically attained through a professional accounting designation, i.e.: CGA, CMA, CA and three years of working experience in Financial Management. This is a position of trust and must be staffed with individual whose trustworthiness and security would not place ???dl?? K?? First Nation or Nogha Enterprises Ltd. at risk.
