We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for our next Compliance Analyst, Payments. Could it Be You?
The purpose of the Payments Compliance Analyst role is to assist Questrade in ensuring that our customers\' sensitive payment information remains protected, and our operations remain secure in an ever-evolving digital landscape. They will also contribute towards Questrade\xe2\x80\x99s drive for payment security and regulatory compliance with respect to Canada\xe2\x80\x99s payment ecosystem, by-laws, rules, and standards. This will be achieved through the day-to-day activities performed under the supervision of the Manager, Payments Compliance.

As a Payments Compliance Analyst, you will be a key contributor to Questrade\'s commitment to maintaining the highest level of security and compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring Questrade\xe2\x80\x99s digital payment systems and payment card security practices adhere to industry standards and regulations, safeguarding sensitive payment information and maintaining the security and integrity of our payment operations.

A successful candidate is a motivated individual with strong organization skills, solid oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, exceptional follow-through and success in building relationships with business partners.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing day-to-day activities associated with Questrade\xe2\x80\x99s Payments Compliance program, as assigned
• Conducting periodic reviews of implemented controls for adherence to the requirements and suggest remediation for missing or insufficient controls
• Providing recommendations and feedback to architecture, security and technology teams on mitigating controls and system design to meet requirements
• Collaborating with the information security, IT Governance, Risk and Control team, and second-line functions across the enterprise to implement operational controls
• Identifying and defining PCI Compliance requirements applicable to financial services companies acting as an issuer and merchant
• Identifying potential vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or non-compliant practices and working with relevant teams to promptly address and rectify these issues
• Preparing comprehensive reports detailing compliance findings, assessment results, and recommendations for improvement
• Providing ongoing support to the compliance department
• Proficiency in Questrade\xe2\x80\x99s compliance policies and procedures
• Establishing positive relationships with internal clients in other business units
• Working collaboratively with multiple departments
• Becoming a subject matter expert in Questrade\xe2\x80\x99s Payments Compliance policies
• Taking ownership of processing and completing all tasks as assigned

• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in PCI Compliance, IT, Security or Data Protection experience in a risk, audit or compliance oversight role
• Strong knowledge and understanding of PCI Compliance, specifically when acting as card issuer and merchant
• Solid understanding of PCI DSS requirements and industry best practices for securing payment card data
• Working knowledge of Canada\xe2\x80\x99s payment ecosystem, by-laws, rules, and standards
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel/Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High ethical standards and integrity
• A natural curiosity and drive to learn

• Solid knowledge of payment protocols and networks, such as EFT, bill payments, ACH
