Job Summary:

Better Way Home Care is looking for team members to join their team. Applicants must be passionate about providing premium care for seniors and individuals who require additional home care support. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the homes of our clients, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. You will work closely with our caregivers and other staff to meet the cleanliness standards that reflect our commitment to quality care. Ideal applicants must be willing to work hourly on a casual basis. Some overnight shifts may be required. Applicants must have a valid Alberta Driver's License and own a reliable vehicle. Ability to work independently with excellent critical thinking skills. Must have strong written and spoken communication skills.

Socializing, games, outings, walks Assist w/meal preparation Light housekeeping Medication reminders Transportation for grocery shopping, medical appointments, or social outings etc. Errands and shopping Pet care Technology assistance Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of clients' homes. Clean bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms according to established protocols. Follow specific instructions from clients or caregivers regarding special cleaning needs. Dispose of trash and recycling in a responsible manner. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management. Adhere to company policies and health & safety guidelines. Foster a warm, respectful, and professional relationship with clients and staff. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. Ability to lift and move items as needed (light to moderate physical activity). Willingness to provide background check with vulnerable sector. Compassionate and caring attitude. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques or methods.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
