Role Overview

We are seeking a

Disability Community Support Worker

to provide

client-centered support

in both

home-care

and

community-based

environments. The ideal candidate is

Key Responsibilities

Assist with

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

including grooming, bathing, dressing, and

personal care

. Support

meal preparation

,

feeding assistance

, and following dietary plans. Provide

medication administration

and

medication reminders

according to care plans. Assist with

mobility support

,

lifting

,

transfers

, and use of adaptive equipment. Offer

emotional support

and

companionship

to enhance client well-being. Encourage

community inclusion

, recreation, social activities, and skill-building. Maintain

accurate documentation

of services, client progress, incidents, and daily reports. Follow

health & safety

, privacy, risk management, and care standards.

Qualifications

Experience working with

individuals with disabilities

or in

home care / support work

preferred. Ability to provide

physical support

(transferring, repositioning, standing support).

Effective communication

and relationship-building skills.

Reliable

and consistent attendance.

Valid First Aid & CPR Certification

required.

Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check

within 6 months. Legally eligible to work in

Canada

.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $15.50 per hour
