Disability Community Support Worker

We are seeking a

compassionate

and

dedicated

Disability Community Support Worker

to provide essential

care

and

support

to individuals with

disabilities

in

home

and

community

settings. This role promotes

independence

dignity

, and

quality of life

for clients.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with

daily living activities

, including

personal hygiene

,

meal preparation

, and

medication reminders/administration

. Provide

companionship

and

emotional support

to clients. Assist with

mobility

,

lifting

, and

transfers

. Observe,

document

, and

report changes

in client

health

or

behavior

. Deliver

individualized care

for clients with varying

disabilities

. Encourage

mental stimulation

and

social interaction

through meaningful

activities

. Maintain a

clean

and

safe environment

, including

light housekeeping

. Complete accurate

documentation

of

care provided

and

client updates

.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Previous

experience supporting individuals with disabilities

preferred. Comfortable with

lifting

,

transferring

, and

mobility assistance

. Strong

communication skills

for working with

clients

,

families

, and

care teams

.

Empathetic

,

patient

, and committed to

improving lives

.

Dependable

and

punctual

, with flexibility to work

evenings

or

weekends

if required. Clear

Vulnerable Sector Police Check

(within last 6 months). Valid

First Aid & CPR certification

(

Basic

or

Standard

). Legally authorized to

work in Canada

(valid

work

or

study permit

if applicable).
