We are seeking a

Disability Community Support Worker
to provide
essential care and support
to individuals with
disabilities
in their
homes
or
community settings
. Your role will be
key
in promoting
independence, dignity, and quality of life
for the individuals you serve.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
assistance with daily living activities
, including
personal hygiene, meal preparation
, and
medication reminders/administration
Offer
companionship
and
emotional support
to create a
positive environment
Assist with
mobility, lifting, and transfers
Observe and report
any
changes in health or behavior
to appropriate personnel
Deliver
individualized care
for clients with
varying disabilities
Encourage
mental stimulation
and
social interaction
through meaningful activities
Maintain a
clean and safe environment
, including
light housekeeping
Complete
accurate documentation
of care provided and client updates
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience
supporting individuals with disabilities is
strongly preferred
Comfortable with
lifting, transferring
, and other
mobility assistance
Strong communication skills
to work effectively with
clients, families, and care teams
Empathetic and patient demeanor
, with a
genuine commitment
to improving others' lives
Must be
dependable, punctual
, and able to work
flexible hours
, including
evenings or weekends
if needed
Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
(dated within the last 6 months) required
Valid First Aid & CPR certification
(Basic or Standard level)
Must be
legally authorized to work in Canada
(
valid work or study permit
if applicable)

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $15.50 per hour
