Position Overview

We're looking for a

Community Relations Coordinator

who lives in Beaver County, to be the welcoming face of Claystone and a key connector between our organization and the communities we serve. This role combines front-office reception duties with community engagement, event coordination, and program administration. If you're passionate about building relationships, organizing events, and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Serve as the primary receptionist, greeting visitors and managing inquiries. Represent Claystone at community events, open houses, and public meetings. Plan and coordinate community-focused events and engagement activities. Act as liaison for the Public Advisory Committee, supporting meetings and communications. Administer the Community Grant Program, including application intake and reporting. Assist with community-focused communications such as newsletters, social media, and public information materials.

What We're Looking For

Experience in reception, customer service, government relations, or public-facing roles. Event planning and coordination experience required; grant program administration is an asset. Diploma or certificate in communications, public relations, community development, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, friendly approach. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new tools. Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends and lift up to 25 lbs for event setup. Must live within Beaver County, preference will be given with those who are in proximity to the Ryley site.
