About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and community-driven Community Connector to strengthen relationships and support systems both internally and externally. This role will play a critical part in fostering community engagement, coordinating support services, and responding to crisis situations. Key Responsibilities1. Internal Integration
• Provide direct community support within the organization.
• Develop and facilitate internal programming efforts.
• Monitor the well-being of community members and collaborate with the 12N support team to connect them with appropriate internal or external resources.
2. External Engagement
• Develop and maintain relationships with volunteers and external partners.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders such as SD, JH, and employment liaison organizations.
• Strengthen partnerships with operators and service providers to improve community access to resources.
3. Crisis Response
• Act as a first point of contact in crisis situations.
• Implement appropriate response strategies to support individuals in need.
• Work alongside other service providers to coordinate effective interventions and actively contribute to maintaining a safe community environment.
Qualifications and Skills
• Background in social work, community outreach, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in crisis response and de-escalation techniques.
• Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively represent the organization through networking, advocacy, and community engagement.
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and reporting.
