Home Care Assistance Barrie Simcoe County is a Staffing Solution Company trying to change the way the world ages.

We are searching for a community support worker to help support the needs of senior living in their home in Gravenhurst. The shifts are 3 hours long and the times are flexible. This individual is looking for morning or afternoon care (not both). There are 6 shifts bi weekly as follows:

Week #1: Monday and Saturday

Week #2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday

Your typical day:

• Assist with one-on-one support
• Keep clients engaged and safe
• Assist at mealtimes
• All other tasks required by the care plan
• A passion for the job in helping others
• Companionship and friendship

Must haves:

• Access to reliable transportation G License and valid insurance (is an asset)
• Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs
• Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines, including a booster shot
