Kamloops Innovation Centre (KIC) is looking for a part-time Community Builder to participate in developing communications and engagement, creating marketing initiatives, and promoting the incubator's services.Kamloops Innovation is a technology and startup business accelerator located in Kamloops' North Shore neighborhood. We offer programs that guide, coach and mentor early-stage startups. We operate in a dynamic community of co-working and collaborative offices. • Good copywriting and copyediting skills

What you will do

• Fulfill office hours at Kamloops Innovation Centre or on-campus at TRU Generator

• As the first point of contact, greet clients and visitors ensuring they feel welcome and are transitioned to the right place and/or person

• Address email, phone, and in-person inquiries in a polite and timely manner

• Provide support to tenants/clients with regards to meeting room scheduling, leasing agreements, and building access

• Assist the Operations Manager with event development, preparation and management, including event check in, booking facilities, and obtaining quotes

• Brainstorm ideas and create content for social media and website (visuals and text)

• Conduct interviews with the KIC community and write articles for the website

• Market entrepreneurship and the TRU Generator on-campus
