Hours: Part-time, 20-25 hours/week Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
Job Type: HybridIn person/Remote,Contract As the Communications Lead you will: \xc2\xb7 Market and publicize all special events to members, parents/guardian and at times the general public \xc2\xb7 Prepare and deliver monthly reports \xc2\xb7 Develop marketing plans within budget requirements \xc2\xb7 Develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with the Club\xe2\x80\x99s mission, goals and objectives \xc2\xb7 Support the development and implementation of social media strategy, with specific goals to grow followers, engagement and brand mentions across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube \xc2\xb7 Assist with programs and events\xe2\x80\x99 evaluations \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and manage social media requests for program departments \xc2\xb7 Maintain social media calendar and update online platforms: post, monitor social media activity, reply/comment as needed and routinely update the Club\xe2\x80\x99s website \xc2\xb7 Work closely with internal and external graphic designers to develop communications material including newsletters and promotional materials Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a communications role \xc2\xb7 University degree or college diploma in communications, media relations, journalism, public relations or a related program \xc2\xb7 Writing and editing skills to demonstrate experience developing and implementing successful social media strategies across a variety platforms \xc2\xb7 Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and social media analytics. \xc2\xb7 Non-profit experience is an asset \xc2\xb7 Access to a car is an asset We thank all candidates for their interest; however only those under consideration will be contacted.
