The Change Management & Communications Lead will work closely with project leadership and our external integration partner to drive the design, development and implement change management strategy to maximize employee adoption of the ERP implementation. The change leader will collaborate with employees across the organization to help them navigate through the change and create an engaged workforce during and post the implementation. They will also be responsible for providing people management support, advice, and consultative services in partnership with leaders and employees. Building and executing a communication strategy and plan for our project team, employees, customers and suppliers during and post implementation will be a core responsibility of this role and critical to the success of the project. Essential Functions:
  • Sponsor of SQF (Safe Quality Food) program to drive engagement and participation
  • Develop the change management strategy for the ERP implementation and other change initiatives and work with the HR team and project team to execute
  • Develop change management plans for the ERP implementation and/or other change initiatives.
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of planned organizational changes with the ERP implementation through facilitated workshops and employee discussions
  • Conduct a stakeholder analysis and define recommendations to ensure stakeholder buy-in and adoption
  • Work with the training manager to help define the best training approach and strategy for all major business and system implementations
  • Support the project team and the business with required change management training to support end user acceptance
  • Identify adoption risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Create and issue regular project communications to the internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change
  • Provide support and coaching advice to senior leaders and people managers during the transformation and for other internal projects
  • Partner with leadership on an on-going basis to proactively address employee resistance, communicate transparently, and respond to concerns in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, human resource management, operations management or related field.
  • 10 years work experience with a minimum of 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a change management role or organizational design role
  • Experience as a change management leader on large scale ERP transformations is a desired asset
  • Experience facilitating change management workshops and stakeholder assessments
  • Facilitate role mapping and business readiness evaluations as required
  • Superior communications skills are required along with the ability to interface with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization and prepare clear, concise and compelling communications
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organization issues and challenges
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Change management certification or designation is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate a group of resources to achieve a shared vision
  • Must be proficient with MS Office
  • Excellent grammar, verbal, and writing skills are necessary
  • Individual must be resourceful, highly organized and have the ability to prioritize work.
