The Communications Coordinator will play a key role in promoting and enhancing the reputation and visibility of the BC Trucking Association (BCTA) and SafetyDriven\xe2\x80\x90 Trucking Safety Council of BC (TSCBC). This role will work closely with our Communications Manager to create and implement initiatives to drive engagement, increase awareness of both organizations, and promote our mission and values. Who We Are: BCTA is a member\xe2\x80\x90based, province\xe2\x80\x90wide, non\xe2\x80\x90partisan, non\xe2\x80\x90profit motor carrier association formed solely to advance the interests of motor carriers in BC. Founded in 1913, BCTA includes among its members for\xe2\x80\x90hire and private carriers hauling every conceivable type of freight. We also represent motor coach, courier, and waste management companies and suppliers to the industry. Through consultation and communication with our industry, government, and the public, BCTA promotes a safe, efficient, and responsible commercial road transportation industry that contributes to the economy of British Columbia. SafetyDriven is driving to improve safety performance in trucking and related industries. Our SafetyDriven team delivers free, confidential advice, along with training, resources, and information. As the industry Certifying Partner, approved by WorkSafeBC, we award Certificates of Recognition (COR) to employers and owner/operators who show commitment to workplace safety and effective injury management. This position will be split equally, with 50% of time dedicated to BCTA, and the remaining 50% allocated to SafetyDriven. Who You Are:
