Job Description

:



? Reviewing newsletters, brochures, press release and other media-related documents.

? Promote and market programs and services on all online platforms.

? Use all available platforms to register programs and get maximum exposer.

? Experience with fundraising plat forms online.

? Follow protocol with requests, this will reflect on google log sheet and Calendar.

? Update website and App content and maintain the site in general.

? Promote success stories with snapshots and other communications.

? Preparing presentations, organizational announcements, annual reports, and brochures.

? Prepare activity reports and metrics for measuring success, tracking media exposure.

? Send out survey and evaluation forms as needed.

? Increase number for newsletter subscribers' registration through events virtual or in person.

? Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data.

? Update lists in email marketing software appropriately.

? Work with volunteers and staff to moderate and monitor social media spam.

? Share content and live links with third party resources and online applications as needed.

? Seek professional development plan and bring important training to staff and volunteers.

? Work with the calendar committee to produce an annual prayer calendar.

Job Specifications:



? Minimum of an undergraduate degree or diploma in communications, marketing or journalism.

? 3-5 years' experience in communications planning and implementation.

? Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

? Knowledge of design programs including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator preferred.

? Knowledge of best practice related to engagement with media relations and social movements.

? Strong writing and editing skills for key messages, memos and communications materials.

? Outstanding verbal communication skills and have attention to details.

? An understanding of social media strategies and media relations.

? Above average knowledge of social media platforms; such as Instagram, Twitter, FB etc.

? Ability to host live programs on social media and act as spokesperson to maintain relations.

? Maintain Islamic identity and brand ambassador for Al Rashid Foundation.

? Pay is competitive which be based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
