We are looking for a full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Edmonton-based Marketing team. The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:
Developing compelling technical content for brochures, flyers, websites, marketing campaigns, advertisements, case studies, blogs, and internal communications.
Crafting engaging and informative technical content for social media and email marketing.
Developing strategies and concepts for campaigns, product launches, and corporate and brand initiatives.
Assisting in the design and publication of visual assets for marketing materials and content.
Planning and managing content calendars to ensure organized, consistent messaging and timely execution.
Conducting internal and external research to identify market trends, opportunities, and audience needs.
Supporting the coordination and organization of tradeshows and corporate events, including pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities.
Supporting daily marketing activities.
General
Assist other departments as required
Participate in worksite hazard assessments, incident investigations, safety meetings, safety training, and other aspects of the Hi-Tech Seals safety and quality control programs as required
Work as a contributing team member, establish fair working relations and maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Other duties as requested/directed
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and characteristics:
Post-secondary diploma in Marketing or related field required
Degree in Marketing or related field would be an asset
At least 2 years of Marketing experience is required
Sound analytical thinker, decision making and problem-solving skills
Strong and confident interpersonal and communication skills
Efficient time management skills
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential
Able to work cooperatively in a team environment
Adaptable and able to manage varying workload demands.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient with digital marketing tools
Experience with Adobe design assets is an asset but not required
